Best Friends

We moved back in February and were so excited to find out that a family in our ward that live only four houses away also have two daughters the same ages as my girls, ages 4 and 2. We instantly became great friends! Our girls play together all the time, and I even get to sit and chat as much as possible with their mom. Well they are going to Germany for 7 weeks to visit family! Tons of fun right...We are going to miss them so much! Today all the kids came to our house to play for one last time before they leave tomorrow. Well my little 4 year old Kaitlyn decided that she was going to go to Germany too. So I called the girls to come downstairs because their mom was there to pick them up and my little Kaitlyn had packed herself dresses, sweaters, pants, shorts, pajamas, shoes, flip flops, her build a bear, a blankie, a little backpack full of doll clothes and accessories, and 2 pictures of her sister Brookie (so she wouldn't forget her). They were all packed in a pillowcase and the cardboard house that the build a bear came in. Well we looked through her "suitcase" and noticed that she forgot her underwear, so she ran upstairs and brought down her underwear, and a few more toys. She was determined to go to Germany. So we explained that she couldn't go with them, so she tried to walk home with the girls anyway, but we told her to give her friends hugs goodbye and we would see them when they got back. Well needless to say she started crying and told me that she loved her friends and she was going to miss them and she just wanted to go with them because they are her best friends. I am so happy that my girls have such great friends to play with. We hope they have lots of fun in Germany, but we'll be counting down the days until they come home! (Especially Kaitlyn- she already had me write them a letter telling them how much she missed them and loved them, and they haven't even left yet)
