A Penny Saved Is A Penny Earned-Benjamin Franklin

So there is this really cool produce co-op in our area. Every 2 weeks you get all this fresh delicious produce for only $15! Awesome deal... 14 peaches, 11 apples, 8 bananas, spinach, lettuce, carrots, etc... The produce changes but it is always really good! It's a great deal. It is set up by a non-profit group call bountiful baskets. If you want more info, go to bountifulbaskets.org
Every so often they also offer great deals on bulk items. Recently they had a great deal where you could buy 20 lbs of tomatoes for only $7.50! You could also purchase their "Mexican Food Pack" for $5 (which included tons of cilantro, limes, onions, garlic, etc). So my sister in law and I decided to each buy 20 lbs of tomatoes, make salsa, and can it! What were we thinking...11 hours 40 + jars of salsa later we were done. My house still smells like garlic, and we did this about 3 1/2 weeks ago.
Well at least Brendan appreciates it! He eats the salsa almost as much as he drinks water!
